Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an A&P Aircraft Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established aviation maintenance company in Gainesville, FL.
This is a great opportunity for an A&P mechanic who has a few years of aircraft maintenance experience and wants to continue growing in a stable, professional general aviation environment. The company is open to training the right candidate, including mechanics who may have experience on larger aircraft or jets but are interested in expanding their skills across a wider variety of aircraft.

What You’ll Do
The A&P Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation in accordance with FAA standards, company procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities may include:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on general aviation and business aircraft
- Assist with inspections, scheduled maintenance, line maintenance, and heavier maintenance projects
- Troubleshoot mechanical, airframe, and powerplant issues
- Work on a variety of aircraft types, which may include piston, turbine, prop, and jet aircraft
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Follow all FAA regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
- Maintain accountability for tools, tool condition, and quality of work
- Work closely with leadership and other technicians in a structured, process-oriented environment

Qualified candidates should have:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required
- 2-3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with jets, larger aircraft, military aircraft, or general aviation aircraft will be considered
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to follow procedures, document work accurately, and maintain high quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled hangar/shop environment
- Must be dependable, professional, and team oriented
Experience That Is Helpful But Not Required
- General aviation maintenance experience
- Piston, turbine, prop, or light jet experience
- Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, Cirrus, Diamond, King Air, Pilatus, Citation, Learjet, Hawker, or Embraer experience
- Annual inspections, phase inspections, line maintenance, or heavy maintenance exposure
