Job Summary
The Aircraft Parts and Inventory Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring the timely procurement, organization, inventory control, and distribution of quality aircraft parts and materials to support company operations. This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy through effective inventory management practices, purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and inventory audits while ensuring materials are available when needed.
This position also manages online sales of surplus inventory, develops profitable disposition channels for excess materials, supervises department personnel, and continuously improves processes to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Source and purchase quality aircraft parts and materials by managing vendor relationships, purchase orders, pricing, and timely receipt of goods.
· Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective organization, cycle counts, audits, inventory controls, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
· Improve department processes to reduce waste, enhance quality, increase efficiency, and support overall profitability.
· Lead, train, and support Parts Department personnel while promoting safe, efficient, and accountable daily operations.
· Manage surplus inventory sales by developing online sales channels, maintaining product listings, processing customer orders, and building strong customer relationships.
· Partner with maintenance and other departments to anticipate inventory needs and ensure materials are available to support operational requirements.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
· Previous supervisory or management experience preferred, with demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
· Aviation, aerospace, or FAA-regulated parts experience preferred; candidates with strong purchasing and inventory experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
· Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations, and inventory management best practices.
· Excellent communication, organization, planning, time management, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with Microsoft Office, inventory management software, online sales platforms, e-commerce, or digital marketing is preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Frequently stand and sit throughout the workday.
· Lift and move items weighing 60 pounds of more.
· Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements as required.
· Regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone and other standard office equipment.
· Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
