Role Overview:
The FBO Desk Customer Service Representative at Freedom Aviation plays a versatile role in delivering outstanding service to General Aviation customers. This position acts as a key liaison between clients and the company, greeting and assisting aircraft passengers and crew, supporting flight school dispatch operations, and ensuring the front desk and lobby remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist all arriving and departing flights.
- Answer and direct calls via the central phone system.
- Provide in-person and phone support to customers, employees, and visitors; refer inquiries as needed.
- Handle front desk customer service transactions for base and transient aircraft, pilots, and passengers.
- Maintain the FBO calendar, including scheduling and customer reservations (e.g., car rentals, hotels).
- Manage and update customer databases for FBO and CPC clients.
- Schedule, dispatch, and invoice CPC flights; perform CPC data entry.
- Monitor aircraft and pilot/student records for regulatory compliance.
- Support the pilot store, including cashier duties and inventory management.
- Provide administrative support to Line, Charter, and CPC departments.
- Coordinate crew courtesy vehicles and ensure vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain refreshments and general information in the FBO.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, vending, and conference areas clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications
- Able to operate a multi-line phone system
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiar with aviation terminology and procedures
- Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability to change
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to maintain full range of motion and the ability to work in confined spaces
- Good hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision.
- Effective verbal communication and auditory comprehension
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
