About the Role
Second Star Aviation is looking for a Remote Parts Manager to coordinate parts purchasing across our growing network of aircraft maintenance shops.
This person will be responsible for helping our teams find, order, and track the parts they need to keep projects moving. You will communicate regularly with our shop teams, research parts and suppliers, place orders, follow up on shipments, and help resolve delays or problems when they arise.
Although this is a remote position, it is highly collaborative. You will spend a significant amount of time communicating with vendors and coordinating with employees at our different locations. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and genuinely kind to the people they interact with.
The way we treat vendors matters to us. We want someone who is patient, friendly, and professional on the phone—even when an order is urgent or something has gone wrong. Our Parts Manager will play an important role in maintaining Second Star Aviation’s reputation as a company that is easy and enjoyable to work with.
