● JTAC career field within the last 10 years, or 10 years as an active-duty pilot with 3+ years of SOF pilot experience, plus 3 years applying SOF aircrew procedures (tactics, techniques, and procedures; standardization and evaluation; publications; and mission radios). Military equivalent: AFSC 1Z3/13L or 11/12-series.

Job Description:
Serve as the qualified Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) or pilot-qualified operator for MRT sorties, providing terminal attack control and controlling assault-zone (Landing Zone / Drop Zone) operations under DAFMAN 13-217. A qualified operator is provided for every scheduled sortie.
Deliver realistic mission-rehearsal scenarios for AFSOC aircrews across AC-130J, U-28, MC-130, CV-22, NSAv and remotely piloted aircraft mission sets, replicating the air-to-ground communications and terminal control the aircrew trains against.
Operate encrypted UHF, VHF, FM, HF, and SATCOM radios and mission systems; document sortie execution; and comply with duty-hour and crew-rest limits.
Job Requirements:
● Serve as a JTAC- or pilot-qualified operator on scheduled MRT sorties.
● Control assault-zone (Landing Zone / Drop Zone) operations and provide terminal control in accordance with DAFMAN 13-217.
● Operate encrypted UHF/VHF/FM/HF/SATCOM radios, target-marking devices, and mission systems.
● Apply SOF aircrew tactics, techniques, and procedures, standardization and evaluation, and publications.
● Hold a current SOF JTAC or SOF Pilot qualification (SOCOM JTAC preferred) and a current Secret security clearance.
● For LZSO/DZ positions must hold a LZSO certification
● Willing to travel (TDY) and provide after-hours support at other locations as needed.
Travel Requirements
● TDY to other performance locations as required by the Government; after-duty-hours support during surge and peak flying periods.
