Position Overview
Avright is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to provide administrative, coordination, and trip support services for Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. This role is non-dispatch, non-regulatory, and does not exercise operational control. All responsibilities are checklist-driven and performed in accordance with established SOPs and escalation procedures.
This position supports domestic and international trip execution by coordinating vendors, tracking trip details, and assisting with required documentation to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trip support coordination for domestic and international flights
- Coordinate with FBOs, fuel vendors, ground handlers, hotels, catering, and transportation providers
- Monitor flight activity and relay updates to internal teams and approved contacts
- Request and confirm pre-approved fuel releases and service arrangements
Assist with overflight and landing permit coordination, including:
- Gathering required aircraft, crew, and trip information
- Submitting requests through approved channels or vendors
- Tracking permit status, revisions, and validity
- Uploading and maintaining permit documentation in internal systems
- Track trip details, updates, and expenses in internal platforms
- Maintain accurate trip notes, confirmations, and trip-specific documentation
- Communicate professionally with flight crews, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Follow established SOPs, checklists, and escalation protocols at all times
- Support both routine and time-sensitive trip changes as assigned
- Provide after-hours or extended-coverage support when scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in trip support, aviation operations support, logistics coordination, or travel-related operations
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and checklists
- Comfortable working remotely with multiple systems and time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to remain organized, professional, and responsive in a fast-paced operations environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with FBOs, charter operators, or trip support service providers
- Familiarity with overflight and landing permit processes (information gathering, tracking, documentation)
- Experience supporting international operations and cross-border trips
- Familiarity with trip planning, flight-tracking, or fuel-pricing platforms
- Prior experience in a remote or shift-based operations role
