What Will You Be Doing?
The Aircraft Appearance Supervisor oversees the Aircraft Appearance department’s 24/7 day-to-day operations. This includes but is not limited to developing and supervising Aircraft Appearance Agents as well as outside vendors. (as described in the AAPM manual).
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership, direction and on-the-job training to agents and coordinators.
- Coordinate and communicate agent work assignments based on the immediate and consistently changing need of the operation to ensure the proper placement of personnel and performance expectations.
- Assign and distribute workload to Aircraft Appearance Coordinators and Agents.
- Make independent decisions on agent work assignments and locations based on operational needs.
- Monitor employee performance and take corrective action as necessary.
- Evaluate daily manpower, assign work teams and ensure maximum coverage.
- Perform daily audits of regulated paperwork and Aircraft Cleans.
- Complete daily reporting thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Processing of department time and payroll.
- Analyze future flight schedules to assist in creating shift bids for department.
- Ensure adherence to airport and aircraft security regulations and report any violations and/or potential violations to management.
- Identify possibilities for operational improvements and communicate them to the Mgr, Aircraft Appearance.
- Monitor employee and aircraft safety and report any hazards or incidents to management.
- Ensure adherence to airport and aircraft security regulations and report any violations and/or potential violations to management.
- Serve as liaison between Frontier and contract cleaning in Frontier stations.
- Communicate effectively with various departments.
- Monitor and order supplies.
Assist the flight crews, coordinators and agents when necessary.
When operationally necessary, give “direct order” to agents refusing an assignment while maintaining professionalism and remaining calm.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience with an airline
- Previous supervisory and management experience - required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to qualify for and maintain a current US Customs seal
- Must be available to work graveyard shift.
- Must maintain all training and certifications through employment

- Must be detailed oriented and able to perform multiple tasks making independent decisions involving the operation.

- Able to determine necessary equipment/supplies needed for proper appearance of the plane and an FAA safety audit
- Must be able to perform ACA duties if operationally necessary
- Ability to always provide excellent customer service and applies problem-solving techniques in difficult passenger or crew situations
- Ability to lead and motivate Aircraft Appearance Agents in a positive and professional manner
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a stressful environment
- Ability to communicate in an effective, calm, and professional manner at all times
- Good knowledge of Frontier Airlines policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment, especially with other supervisors and managers

Equipment Operated
Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer and various vehicles.
Work Environment
Work schedule that spans a 24/7 operation including weekends, holidays and overtime.
Physical Effort
Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.
Supervision Received
General Supervision: The incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

Over 100 agents on three different shifts
Salary Range: $43,000 - $67,725
