Haggan Aviation is a leading FAA Part 145 Repair Station located at Centennial Airport (KAPA), specializing in business jet maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. Our team is dedicated to safety, precision, and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Parts Room Manager to lead our materials and logistics operations, ensuring FAA compliance, on-time project support, and departmental performance across all aircraft programs.
Job Summary
The Parts Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, including procurement, receiving, inventory management, shipping, and parts traceability. This position plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance team and ensuring all aircraft projects are supplied efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in aviation parts management, strong leadership and communication skills, experience in Corridor ERP and a deep understanding of FAA documentation requirements. This is a high-visibility position reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance and interacting daily with Production, Quality, and Accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Oversight: Manage and supervise all daily parts operations including purchasing, receiving, stocking, issuing, and shipping parts.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations within the Corridor ERP system.
- Procurement: Source and purchase parts per approved vendor lists, negotiate lead times and pricing, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries.
- Traceability & Compliance: Verify and maintain FAA documentation for all incoming and outgoing parts (8130-3, certificates of conformance, packing slips, etc.), ensuring compliance with Part 145 standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring proper documentation, handling, and preservation of parts and materials.
- Team Development: Lead, train, and evaluate parts personnel to maintain a high-performing department focused on accuracy, communication, and accountability.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Accounting to support work orders, billing accuracy, and inventory cost control.
- KPI Performance Management: Establish and achieve measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including:
- Inventory Accuracy: ≥ 98% system match.
- Purchase Request Turnaround: ≤ 24 hours from approval to order.
- Vendor Return Rate: ≤ 2% rejection.
- Stock Availability: ≥ 90% fill rate for fast-moving items.
- Documentation Accuracy: 100% FAA compliance.
- Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly performance updates to leadership, outlining parts status, financial metrics, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and communication within the department.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in aviation parts or materials management, preferably within an FAA 145 environment. Must have Corridor ERP experience
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of FAA parts documentation and traceability requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP/inventory software (Corridor) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 45 hours per week (Monday through Friday).
- Occasional overtime or weekend support may be required based on aircraft delivery schedules and inventory accuracy.

Base Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
