About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, safety‑focused Britten-Norman BN‑2 Islander pilot to join our team based out of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE). This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to manage and operate a single-aircraft Part 91 flight department, ensuring high standards of professionalism, reliability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot in Command of a BN‑2 Islander on all operations.
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft scheduling, operation, and readiness.
- Manage aircraft maintenance coordination, recordkeeping, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Part 91 regulations and safety standards.
- Perform regular flights between the U.S. and the Bahamas, including specialty island operations.
- Provide exceptional service while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
Qualifications
Required:
- High-time multi-engine pilot.
- Strong knowledge of Part 91 operations.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a small flight department environment.
Preferred:
- Britten-Norman BN‑2 Islander flight experience.
- A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License.
- Experience operating into Cat Cay Island.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Bahamian Customs procedures.
- Oceanic and island‑destination flying experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $70,000–$100,000, depending on experience
