Description:
Desert Jet is building a roster of experienced aviation professionals to provide wing walker services on an independent contractor basis at Yampa Valley Regional Airport (KHDN).
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for individuals who want flexible, as-needed project work supporting aircraft movement operations.
Selected contractors will be added to Desert Jet’s approved contractor list and contacted on an as-needed basis for opportunities to support aircraft towing and repositioning in and out of hangars and ramp areas.
When we call, we move aircraft safely, professionally, and efficiently. That’s where you come in!
- Provide wing walking services during aircraft towing and repositioning.
- Maintain safe clearance and situational awareness at all times.
- Operate in accordance with airport regulations and safety standards.
- Services performed under an Independent Contractor Agreement.
- No guaranteed volume of work.
- Contractor may provide services to other clients.
- Compensation paid per agreed service rate upon invoice.
- No employee benefits provided

Requirements:
- Prior aviation ramp or line service experience strongly preferred
- Strong safety mindset and professional communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport badging
