DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot electrical, airframe, and powerplant systems, ensuring optimal aircraft performance and minimal downtime
- Work with OEM vendors and contract MX to ensure maintenance is performed to NICHOLAS AIR / FAA standards
- Utilize electronic manuals to navigate technical data efficiently.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a flexible schedule to include overtime and after-hours work.
- Work with the parts department to order parts in a timely manner and determine warranty coverage.
REQUIREMENTS:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- Minimum 3-5 Year Corporate Aviation Experience OR 2 Years Experience Maintaining Airframes in Fleet.
- Experience working in a FAR 135 Operation
- Experience with CAMP and Corridor a plus
SKILLS:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail
- Strong ability to troubleshoot to include the use of FIM’s and SmartFix
- Ability to read and understand various documents to include Airworthiness Directives, Service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer maintenance manuals.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Ability to write clear and concise maintenance record entries and maintenance turnovers
- Strong ability to communicate via email, in-person, or telephone.
- Ability to understand and implement NICHOLAS AIR GMM and GOM requirements and procedures.
