Job Summary:
The HR Generalist position at an aviation food production plant involves a range of responsibilities that support the overall administration and coordination of human resources functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting plant operations: The HR Generalist plays a vital role in supporting plant operations through their expertise and knowledge of HR processes.
- Recruitment and onboarding: They manage applicant tracking and onboarding for all workers, including internal posting of job openings and conducting new employee orientations.
- HR department records and reports: Establishing and maintaining confidentiality within the HR department handling records and reports which is a key responsibility.
- Employee recognition programs: Administering employee recognition programs and collaborating with management.
- Other HR-related duties: Performing other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
- Requirements: This position requires strong HR expertise, excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. It operates in an office/food production environment and involves routine use of standard office equipment. The physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
