Job Overview

Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Aircraft Mechanics for a Fast Track A&P Program in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. This 4-month contract-to-hire opportunity is designed for mechanics who are eligible to test for their A&P certification and are ready to advance their aviation career.

Candidates must have FAA Form 8610 documentation to qualify.

This is an excellent opportunity for military or civilian mechanics looking to transition into a certified A&P role.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks
Support heavy maintenance operations
Remove and replace aircraft components
Interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation
Complete accurate maintenance records
Follow FAA regulations and company safety standards
Prepare for transition into A&P-certified role

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience – REQUIRED
FAA Form 8610 documentation – REQUIRED
Must be eligible to obtain A&P certification
Experience on any aircraft platform accepted
Must provide personal tools
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass background check and drug screening

Compensation & Details

Pay: $30/hr
Per Diem: Up to $520/week (if eligible)
4-Month Contract-to-Hire
Fast-track pathway to A&P certification
1–2 week hiring process
