Position title: Systems Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Summary: The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative systems that power our aerospace solutions. This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team and make a significant impact on the future of aerospace engineering
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, including performance objectives, safety considerations, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
- Design and develop system architectures, ensuring the integration of various subsystems and components.
- Conduct trade-off analyses and make recommendations to optimize system performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain system requirements documentation, including specifications, interface control documents, and verification plans.
- Conduct system-level analyses, simulations, and modeling to evaluate system behavior, performance, and reliability.
- Perform system-level integration, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
- Identify and assess risks associated with the system and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerospace engineers, software developers, avionics specialists, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Contribute to the development and execution of verification and validation plans, including test procedures, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the aerospace domain, and apply knowledge to improve system design and development processes.

Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry, showcasing your ability to design and develop complex systems
Required Skills:
- Understanding of aerospace systems, subsystems, and interfaces.
- Proficient in all phases of engineering development (requirements, design, test and production)
- Knowledge of relevant aerospace regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in system Innoslate, Cameo, DOORS, CORE, or another MBSE tool.
- Familiarity with Lifecycle Modeling Language, LML
- Familiarity with SySML or UML
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AS9100D Quality Management System policies and procedures
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, SharePoint, etc.).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering , Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Other Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Must use personal mobile device for multi-factor authentication (MFA) for system access. This authenticates your identity.
- This position is full time on-site.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $110,000 annually (Level I) to $160,000 annually (Level IV)
Medical Benefits: Company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, which includes one hundred percent (100%) coverage for the employee and fifty percent
(50%) coverage for dependents
Retirement Benefits: Company 401k retirement plan, where the company will match up to four percent (4%) of employee contributions, subject to plan terms and conditions.
Insurance Benefits: $15,000 in company-paid life insurance
Other Benefits: Two (2) weeks of annual vacation, five (5) days of sick leave, and eleven
(11) annual government holidays.
