About Us

Base Leg Maintenance is a growing general aviation maintenance facility located in Peachtree City, Georgia. We specialize in maintaining and supporting single-engine piston aircraft used in charter, training, and private operations. As our fleet and customer base continue to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Aircraft Interior Installer who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail.

This role focuses on the installation, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft interiors including seats, panels, carpets, headliners, and trim components.

Responsibilities

Install and refurbish aircraft interior components including seats, upholstery, carpet, insulation, panels, and headliners
Remove and reinstall aircraft interior components for maintenance or refurbishment
Work with leather, fabric, foam, plastics, and interior trim materials
Ensure all installations meet FAA standards and company quality requirements
Maintain clean, organized workspaces and protect aircraft surfaces during work
Inspect interior components for wear, damage, or safety issues
Work closely with A&P mechanics and maintenance staff during interior work
Assist with interior detailing and finishing touches to prepare aircraft for return to service
Document work performed when required

Qualifications

Experience installing or repairing aircraft interiors preferred
Upholstery, automotive interior, marine interior experience also considered
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work carefully in confined aircraft spaces
Ability to read work instructions and follow technical guidance
Comfortable using hand tools and small power tools
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Preferred (Not Required)

Previous experience working on general aviation aircraft
Familiarity with FAA maintenance environments
Experience working around aircraft maintenance operations

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, and work inside aircraft cabins
Ability to stand for extended periods
