Job Description:
Air Journey has an immediate opening for a Flight Coordinator for Private Flights in our office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, extremely organized and must be a team-oriented individual, capable of providing first class customer service and care.
We are searching for someone who loves the Private Aviation industry to become a flight support specialist and deliver a true experience for each flight. Duties include weather tracking, flight following, flight crew and FBO communication, as well as prepare itineraries, international flight plans and logistics for private flights.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate with and support flight crews in the planning of predominantly international flights.
- Arrange for and coordinate airport arrivals, FBO services and aircraft handling with suppliers.
- Ensure required trip sheets and all other trip documents are sent to and received by appropriate departments.
- Obtain and arrange for international permits, overflight permits, customs, immigration, and eAPIS manifests for all flights as required.
- Ensure that the appropriate fuel discount program is used at each destination, on a per trip basis.
- Ensure client satisfaction during full length of trip.
- Monitor expenditures on behalf of client and Air Journey.
- Regulate proper billing.
- Negotiate and authorize prices and contracts with clients and suppliers.
- Ensure safety procedures for each trip.
- Ensure that all documents for each flight are complete, confirmed and reconfirmed.
- Provide all documentation to client promptly.
- Efficient, detail-oriented and highly organized.

- On-call after hours availability in rotation with colleagues, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Education and Training:
- Experience in Private Aviation preferred
- Private pilot license / IFR rating preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must
- Experience in Customer Service a Plus

Candidate should be a team player, exhibit leadership skills, be self directed, show initiative, be able to make decisions on their own, have good organizational skills, have excellent attention to detail, and most important, have the ability to handle multiple tasks and stress well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
