As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Training Support Manager / Operations Manager to lead our operations, uphold our standards, and ensure every student experience reflects the excellence that defines Volair Aviation.
Your Role in Our Mission
As a key leader within Volair Aviation, you will oversee the day-to-day operations that keep our training environment running safely and efficiently. From aircraft readiness to student scheduling and regulatory compliance, your leadership will directly impact student success and operational excellence.
You will serve as the bridge between students, instructors, maintenance teams, and regulatory authorities ensuring a seamless, professional, and safety-first training experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all aircraft are airworthy and maintained in full compliance with FAA regulations
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance scheduling to maximize fleet availability and minimize downtime
- Manage and optimize student flight scheduling using Flight Circle for efficient aircraft and instructor utilization
- Lead the student onboarding experience, ensuring preparedness, compliance, and a strong first impression
- Coordinate with Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs) to streamline checkride scheduling and reduce delays
- Supervise, mentor, and support flight instructors, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Champion a safety-first culture in every aspect of operations
- Uphold Volair Aviation’s commitment to professionalism and exceptional service
- Enforce all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational policies
- Ensure full compliance with FAA and TSA regulations, including meticulous recordkeeping
- Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA, maintaining strong regulatory relationships
- Monitor student progress and proactively address challenges to keep training on track
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth, aligned operations
- Perform additional leadership duties as assigned
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,369.96 per year
