OSM Aviation Academy is expanding its U.S. operations and establishing a new large-scale flight training base at Drake Field (KFYV) in Fayetteville, Northwest Arkansas. As part of this growth, we are now looking for a full-time Certified Flight Instructors (CFI / CFII) to join our operational team, be part of the start-up and support the delivery of a structured FAA Part 141 training environment.
This is a unique opportunity to join a greenfield start-up base within an established, international flight training organization with long-term ambitions in the U.S. market.

OSM Aviation Academy is one of Europe’s largest professional pilot training organizations, operating a multi-base training platform across Europe and the United States. We train several hundred students annually and operate a growing, standardized fleet of modern training aircraft and simulators designed for high-utilization professional training environments.
The Academy is in an active investment phase, with significant capital committed to fleet renewal, aircraft standardisation, and simulator capacity. Our fleet strategy is centered on modern, efficient training aircraft based on the Tecnam and Diamond platforms, combined with an expanding simulator footprint to support structured, airline-oriented training programs as well as tailored Airline Solutions.
OSM Aviation Academy is executing a clear growth strategy to build a scalable training platform in the United States, expanding from our established base at Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) to Northwest Arkansas. The U.S. operation is being built with a strong focus on technical robustness, predictable aircraft availability, and long-term sustainability.
Role Overview
We are seeking professional, safety-focused and motivated Certified Flight Instructors (CFI / CFII / MEI) to deliver high-quality flight and ground instruction within our FAA Part 141 program at Drake Field.
This is a full-time instructional role within a structured training environment, with a strong emphasis on standardization, student progression, and operational reliability. As part of the start-up phase, instructors will play a key role in shaping training culture, supporting operational build-up, and contributing to a professional and scalable training platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver flight and ground instruction in accordance with FAA Part 141 syllabus and OSM AA standardization
- Ensure safe, efficient and consistent training delivery aligned with academy procedures and Safety Management System (SMS)
- Support student progression through structured training phases with a focus on quality and timelines
- Conduct pre-flight briefings, post-flight debriefings, and student evaluations
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate closely with dispatch/front desk, technical department, and flight operations to ensure efficient flight line execution
- Contribute to a professional training environment with high standards, where our focus is to train 'Airline Ready' pilots
- Support standardization initiatives and continuous improvement of training
- As part of the start-up, contribute to building the operational and instructional foundation of the base
Requirements
- Valid FAA CFI and CFII certificate (MEI preferred)
- Valid FAA Class 1 Medical certificate
- Experience within a structured training environment (Part 141 preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety, standardization, and professional training delivery
- Good communication skills and ability to instruct students at different stages of training
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-utilization training environment
- Professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Willingness to commit to a full-time role within a growing and structured organization

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
