We are seeking a highly skilled upholstery technician specializing in complex seat construction, precision stitching, and luxury interior finishes for private aircraft. The ideal candidate has experience working with high-end materials and can execute detailed designs with consistency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced upholstery work on aircraft seats, divans, and interior components
- Execute complex stitch patterns (French seams, double top-stitch, diamond quilting, etc.)
- Interpret and work from design drawings, patterns, and templates
- Cut, sew, and assemble materials including leather, ultrasuede, and specialty fabrics
- Ensure symmetry, alignment, and tight tolerances on all finished products
- Disassemble and reassemble aircraft seating systems properly
- Maintain compliance with aviation interior standards and safety requirements
- Inspect finished work for quality, durability, and aesthetic excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of professional upholstery experience (aircraft, automotive luxury, or marine preferred)
- Strong expertise in industrial sewing machines (walking foot, double needle, etc.)
- Proven ability to perform high-end stitching and detailed finishes
- Experience with pattern making and material layout optimization
- Deep understanding of leather behavior, stretching, and fitting techniques
- Ability to meet tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines without compromising quality
