Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Turboprop Engine Mechanics to support an in-house maintenance facility in Miami, FL. This position will focus on maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of PT6 and/or T56 turboprop engines. Military candidates with relevant engine experience are strongly encouraged to apply. An A&P license is not required for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair on PT6 and/or T56 turboprop engines
- Remove and install engines and engine components
- Perform engine buildups and disassembly
- Follow maintenance manuals, technical data, and safety procedures
- Document work performed in maintenance records
- Work in a team environment to meet production and safety goals
Requirements:
- Experience with PT6 engines (King Air, Pilatus, Cessna Caravan) and/or T56 engines (C-130, P-3 Orion)
- Military engine experience is acceptable
- A&P license is NOT required
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Turboprop engine overhaul or heavy maintenance experience
- Engine removal and installation experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced maintenance environment
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
