Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft airframes and related components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Repair or replace aircraft parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in the computerized maintenance management system, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving aircraft structures or equipment installation while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support heavy lifting operations with appropriate equipment and techniques to handle large or complex assemblies safely.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in aircraft maintenance or related vehicle repair fields.
- Knowledge of FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) applicable to aircraft maintenance operations.
- Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other precision instruments.
- Experience working within quality standards or similar aerospace quality management systems.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively.
- Prior military aviation experience or familiarity with aviation maintenance standards is a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
