About Air France Line Maintenance
At Air France, we offer line maintenance services at almost 100 airports worldwide. Our highly-skilled engineers and mechanics are ready to optimize your aircraft operations and have gained the trust of many operators from major to regional airlines. We are expanding our team in Houston and seeking skilled aircraft technicians to be a part of our growing workforce.
Responsibilities:
1) On time arrival and departure services
- Performs non-technical handling activities and tasks
- Assists the Ground/Duty Engineer to carry out repairs on aircraft (in case of technical activities under supervision of a Ground/Duty Engineer), compliant with the technical requirements and customer demands
- Reports (technical) irregularities and progress of work performed to Ground/Duty Engineer or Maintenance Manager
- Assists the Ground/Duty Engineer with aircraft inspections
- Assists the Ground/Duty Engineer with analyzing defects and complaints (trouble shooting)
2) Overall station activities
- Performs minor repairs and cleaning activities on tools and equipment
- Assists in keeping the store and station tidy and compliant with the rules and regulations
- Assists in station related activities
Knowledge & Experience
- Basic technical aircraft training
- Fluent English (write, read, speak)
- Knowledge of apron / aircraft safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of technical requirements and customer demands
- Knowledge of non-technical handling procedures and instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces.
- Must be able to perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
- Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds at a time.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
- Must be able to hear well enough to test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft.

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour
