A well-established Part 91 corporate flight department based in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command to operate a Beechcraft King Air 300 supporting executive transportation and company travel.
The department provides safe, reliable transportation for company leadership and conducts operations primarily throughout the eastern United States with occasional longer trips as required. This position is part of a stable, long-term corporate aviation operation with consistent aircraft utilization and professional maintenance support.
The flight department operates with a small team environment where pilots are expected to demonstrate strong aeronautical judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail while maintaining a high level of service when interacting with company leadership and passengers.
Pilots in this role are expected to take an active role in all aspects of flight department operations, including flight planning, aircraft readiness, and coordination with maintenance providers.
Schedule
This position is ROA-based and home nearly every night. It operates on a 6-day on / 3-day off rotating schedule, providing predictable time off while maintaining consistent flight department coverage.

Primary aircraft operated: Beechcraft King Air 300
Flights are conducted under Part 91 corporate operations.
Pilots with experience operating King Air 200, B200, 250, or King Air 350 aircraft may also find this role to be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Pilot in Command for company aircraft operating under Part 91 regulations
Conduct complete flight planning, including weather analysis, routing, fuel planning, and aircraft performance calculations
Perform detailed preflight and post flight inspections
Maintain aircraft readiness through coordination with maintenance providers and tracking of inspections and scheduled maintenance
Ensure accurate completion of flight logs, operational documentation, and aircraft records
Assist in maintaining aircraft cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
Provide professional interaction with company executives and passengers while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
Participate in required training events, safety programs, and operational meetings
Support the overall professionalism and safety culture of the flight department
Minimum Qualifications
· 3,000 hours total flight time
· 1,200 hours multi-engine time
· Turbine aircraft experience required
· Previous Pilot in Command experience in turbine aircraft
· Strong understanding of Part 91 corporate or business aviation operations
· Excellent aeronautical decision-making and risk management skills
· No history of certificate suspension or recent FAA enforcement actions
· Ability to work effectively within a small professional flight department environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience operating Beechcraft King Air 300 aircraft
· ATP AMEL
· Previous corporate or executive aviation experience
· Prior experience working within a small corporate flight department
· Candidates with previous Part 91 corporate turboprop experience are strongly encouraged to apply
