BAS Part Sales is looking for an ambitious and hard working person who is willing to be a full time mechanic in our fast-pace and fun environment. The job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Disassembling turbine aircraft in turbine shop
- Perform inspections, make repairs to aircraft parts to make them sellable, including engines, avionics, hydraulic systems, and structural components.
- Use diagnostic equipment and test tools to identify performance issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with FAA and company regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and aviation industry standards.
- Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and other technicians to resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, manufacturer updates, and new maintenance techniques.
- Loading and unloading airplanes
- Running equipment such as forklifts
- Completing paperwork
You will work hands on with the rest of our mechanics with the planes that come into the shop. Your role in our company is vital and hands on. Having aviation experience isn't necessary, but will help in the long run. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and being forklift/equipment certified is a huge plus, but not required. Wages are dependent on experience. We are a family like atmosphere where our employees have fun on the job while still getting work done. We will help when needed.
