About the Role

In this role, you will ensure the availability of tools for production, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. Your expertise in tool management and inventory control will directly support our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out process for tools and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
- Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, utilizing inventory management systems to track tool locations and availability.
- Evaluate tools and equipment for wear, damage, or calibration needs, coordinating repairs, replacements, or reconditioning as necessary.
- Organize and store tools in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility for production staff.
- Monitor tool inventory levels and proactively communicate shortages or reorder needs to the supervisor.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits to verify tool and supply quantities.
- Uphold a clean, safe, and organized tool crib environment, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in tool crib operations, inventory control, or manufacturing support.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of hand tools, machine tools, and industrial equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with tool management systems.
- Prior experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with advanced materials.
