As an Overnight Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the face of the hotel during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest. This role combines traditional front desk responsibilities with night audit duties, requiring attention to detail, professionalism, and a passion for service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special guest requests.
- Complete nightly audit functions, including balancing reports and reconciling transactions.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information.
- Monitor lobby activity and ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate relevant information to morning staff.
- Uphold Omni’s service standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Previous front desk, night audit, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remain professional in a quiet overnight environment.
- Basic accounting or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management systems (such as OPERA) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
