Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety protocols within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, particularly those related to Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective time management to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with federal regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze safety data and incident reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure safety measures are integrated into operational processes.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report findings to management.
- Lead investigations of accidents or incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Stay updated on changes in federal aviation regulations and industry best practices related to safety.
Qualifications
- CFII certification with a minimum of two years of experience is a must
- Proven experience in a safety management role in a 141-certified flight school
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Pay: $87,683.00 - $91,500.00 per year
