Job Description:
- Hourly Pay Rate Range: $22.00 to $36.00
- Additional Hourly Pay Rate: $2.00 per License
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
- Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed. Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components, assemble, and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
- Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.
- Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off. Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
- Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor or other management personnel.
- This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to submit to pre-employment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.
Education and Experience:
- H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
- Large commercial aircraft experience preferred but corporate, general, or military aircraft will be considered.
- Must be flexible to work any shift. Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail is imperative. Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be efficient and able to document maintenance performed on required forms. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with the work product.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands.
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing are required. Subject to continual loud noise.
- May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
