Liquid Automation Systems, LLC (LAS-USA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Industrial Marketing Strategies, is experiencing significant growth and we are currently seeking a full-time General Accountant. We design, build and support equipment and systems for managing mission critical fluids throughout North America with a strategic focus on the aviation market. We are based in Pelham, AL.
You will be responsible for recording financial data, reconciling accounts, and supporting basic financial reporting to ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly
· Prepare and issue invoices; track and follow up on payments
· Process payroll and ensure accurate payroll records
· Maintain general ledger and supporting documentation
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
· Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records
· Maintain internal controls and support process improvements
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
