Position: Radiological Services Business Development Mgr – Transportation & Packaging (Remote | Confidential)
Position Requirements - This position will help grow our radioactive materials packaging and transportation business unit by supporting waste disposal programs across the Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and US Army Corp of Engineers landscape.
We’re looking for a seasoned waste management professional with experience in the regulatory and operational realities of moving large quantities of hazardous, radioactive, and waste materials across all transport modes — from rail to over the highway. Position Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years in program/project leadership tied to LLRW/MLLW materials operations
- Business development and capture experience.
- Fundamental understanding of hazmat / hazwaste / radioactive materials transportation requirements (all modes)
- Familiarity with 49 CFR 172 and waste shipping papers such as universal hazardous waste manifest, NRC 540/541/542
- Proven success partnering with 1st- and 2nd-tier contractors and client stakeholders
- Project estimation and the ability to develop compelling, compliant proposals
- Strong verbal, written, and time management skills
- Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
