Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Structures Mechanics to support commercial aircraft heavy maintenance operations in Tampa, Florida. These are 6-month contract opportunities offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This role is ideal for mechanics with commercial aircraft experience, especially those with Airbus A320 backgrounds.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural repairs and modifications on commercial aircraft
- Remove and replace damaged or worn structural components
- Drill, rivet, and assemble aircraft structures to specifications
- Perform sheet metal repairs and fabrication work
- Read and interpret blueprints, SRMs, and structural repair manuals
- Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance
- Ensure all work meets FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document maintenance and repair actions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of structures/sheet metal experience – REQUIRED
- Commercial aircraft experience – REQUIRED
- Experience in heavy maintenance environments – REQUIRED
- A320 experience – HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience on 737 and 767 aircraft – STRONG PLUS
- Strong skills in drilling, riveting, and structural assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- A License required for licensed role
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Structures Mechanic Pay: $28.00/hr
- Structures Mechanic w/ A License Pay: $32.00/hr
- Per Diem:
- Up to $1,040/week per diem (must qualify)
- Contract Length: 6 Months
- Platform: Commercial Aircraft (A320 Preferred)
- Location: Tampa, FL
- Interview Process: Phone or Virtual (some onsite may be required)
- Tools: No personal tools required
