Job Overview
Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics to support aircraft maintenance and modification operationsin Croydon, Pennsylvania. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This role is ideal for mechanics with civilian Part 145 experience and backgrounds on Airbus, Bell, or Leonardo rotary-wing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, and modifications on rotary-wing aircraft
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a Part 145 environment
- Troubleshoot mechanical discrepancies and perform corrective actions
- Remove, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work meets FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document maintenance actions
Qualifications
- Active A&P License – REQUIRED
- Minimum 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience – REQUIRED
- Civilian Part 145 experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- Airbus Helicopters
- Bell Helicopter
- Leonardo Helicopters
- Experience in heavy maintenance and modifications – REQUIRED
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $32.00 – $40.00/hr
- Per Diem:
- Up to $960/week (must qualify)
- Contract Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
- Platform: Airbus / Bell / Leonardo (Rotary)
- Location: Croydon, PA
