Overview
Rees Aviation is building a next-generation private aviation platform centered on operational excellence, white-glove service, and a differentiated client experience. With an owned aircraft currently in operation and a growing brokerage and concierge arm, the company is seeking a Director of Aviation & Client Experience to lead all aspects of flight operations and client delivery.
This is a high-trust, high-impact role responsible for managing global trip execution while delivering a seamless, luxury-level experience for ownership and clients. The ideal candidate combines deep operational expertise with a concierge mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations & Dispatch
- Oversee all flight planning, routing, and execution for owned and brokered aircraft
- Coordinate fuel planning, weather analysis, NOTAMs, and alternates
- Manage global permits, slots, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate directly with pilots, maintenance providers, and third-party operators
Global Trip Coordination
- Serve as the central point of control for all trips, domestic and international
- Coordinate FBOs, ground handling, customs, and immigration
- Manage international logistics including overflight and landing permits
- Anticipate and proactively resolve operational challenges
Client Experience & Concierge
- Deliver a white-glove experience for ownership and charter clients
- Build and manage full trip itineraries including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
- Coordinate catering, special requests, and personalized client preferences
- Act as the primary liaison for high-net-worth clients and their representatives
- Ensure consistency of experience across owned aircraft and third-party charter
Brokerage Support
- Source and coordinate third-party aircraft for charter requests
- Vet operators and ensure alignment with Rees Aviation service standards
- Support pricing, availability, and execution of charter flights
- Maintain relationships with key operators, brokers, and vendors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in private aviation operations, dispatch, or flight department management
- Experience with Part 135 operators, fractional providers, or UHNW flight departments preferred
- Strong understanding of international flight operations, permits, and logistics
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple trips simultaneously with precision
- Client-facing experience working with high-net-worth individuals strongly preferred
- Ability to operate with discretion, urgency, and attention to detail
Preferred Background
- NetJets, Vista Global, Flexjet, Wheels Up, or similar organization
- Corporate or family office flight department experience
- Experience supporting international, multi-leg itineraries
Compensation
- Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000
- Performance Bonus: $25,000 – $50,000+
- Total Compensation: $175,000 – $225,000+

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
