Position Overview: The sales and education specialist will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting product knowledge among our customers. This position will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and supporting general sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
- Uphold our commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and outside sales teams.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, videos, and online resources.
- Provide technical support to customers and outside salespeople.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Represent Appion at industry events and trade shows.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new product developments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Focus between high-volume peak seasons and strategic planning during low season (Peak: Spring, Winter, Fall) (Planning: Summer)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education is preferred).
- Proven experience in data entry, ideally within a sales or customer service environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Proficiency in various computer programs, including the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) or an aptitude for quickly mastering unfamiliar software.
- Ability to travel out of state for a week or more at a time, sometimes back-to-back (peak season reliant).
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle public speaking and large crowds (trade shows & convention centers)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales or customer service roles.
- Willingness to embrace new challenges and a dedication to ongoing learning.
- Previous experience in HVAC or related fields is preferred.

Compensation Package:
- Base Hourly Pay: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr
- Overtime pay
- Performance-Based Commissions (Commission available after probationary period)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (7:30 am -4:30 pm Mountain Time)
Ability to Commute:
- Englewood, CO 80110 (Required)
- Occasional flight out of state
- Local in-state sales calls as needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
