- Safely operate fueling equipment and manage fuel transfer processes for various aircraft types, including commercial and military planes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of fueling systems, hoses, and connectors to ensure they meet all safety and maintenance standards.
- Follow federal aviation regulations and company policies meticulously during fueling operations to prevent accidents or spills.
- Coordinate with ground crew and maintenance teams to schedule fueling activities efficiently, minimizing aircraft turnaround times.
- Maintain detailed logs of fuel quantities, delivery times, and operational checks using manual calculations and digital systems.
- Assist in managing logistics related to fuel inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage of aviation fuel supplies.
- Communicate effectively with pilots, ground staff, and management across multiple languages including English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic within the aviation or automotive industry, with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Supervising or management experience in logistics or maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Multilingual skills in English, Korean, Chinese, or Japanese are preferred to support diverse operational teams.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with manual transmission experience for operating heavy-duty fueling vehicles.
- Knowledge of federal aviation regulations related to fueling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks associated with fuel handling equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management to coordinate multiple fueling operations efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and record-keeping; familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus.
- Military background or experience in aviation maintenance provides valuable insight into disciplined procedures and safety standards.
