Seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Delivery & Installation Technician
Independent contractor (1099 role)
Responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing mobility equipment
Helps improve customer safety, independence, and quality of life
Ideal for someone who:

Has strong problem-solving skills
Communicates professionally with customers
Key Responsibilities
Deliver mobility equipment to residential and commercial locations
Assemble and install products, including:
Lift chairs
Wheelchairs and scooters
Ramps
Stair lifts
Ensure all equipment is installed safely and functions properly
Provide basic instruction to customers on product use
Load, unload, and transport equipment safely
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during installation
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Represent the company professionally at all times
QualificationsQualifications
Required:
Valid and clean driver’s license
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (typically 50–100 lbs or more with assistance)
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in delivery, installation, construction, or assembly work
Familiarity with mobility or medical equipment
Basic electrical or carpentry skills
Work Schedule
Part-time: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
Flexible scheduling based on delivery and installation needs
Compensation
Pay is dependent on experience
