Job Description: Are you a flight surgeon looking for an interesting consulting project? Or, are you a trained aerospace physiologist looking for a full time position developing cutting edge capabilities? Spotlight Labs is expanding its team with talented, experienced aerospace specialists.
Your job will be to assist the CEO/CTO and engineering teams in the development and application of aviation specific physiological devices, data management and algorithm development. Our contracts serve unique stakeholders within the Department of Defense including the Defense Innovation Unit, DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), the USAF and USN, as well as direct application to commercial or general aviation.
Job type: Multiple positions, full and part-time
Job location: On site in Camden, NJ for full time positions and remote locations for consulting or part-time work
Travel Required: YES: up to 10% travel (company reimbursed).
Minimum Qualifications: Trained medical professional with a background in aviation medicine or an experience aerospace physiologist. Must be fluent in American English (reading, writing, spoken) with excellent communication skills (written, verbal etc.), ability to think critically, solve problems, and work independently are an absolute must.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with data driven physiology, particularly with commercial wearable devices or medical devices. Aviation experience in military, commercial or general aviation. Expertise with government contracting or innovation programs is helpful.
