Job Summary
Responsible for leading technical marketing, inside/outside sales, and and repair (MRO) functions within a small, team-based aerospace organization. This role combines hands-on sales execution, customer engagement, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on technical product understanding and clear communication. Marvel Aero is a private, entrepreneurial aerospace company of about 10 employees, where each team member plays a critical role in driving growth and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small inside/outside sales and customer service team
- Develop and execute technical marketing and sales strategies
- Serve as primary point of contact for key customers (airlines, MROs, corporate, and military)
- Support business development through proposals, quotations, and contract review
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers on product use and applications
- Maintain and grow relationships across global aerospace markets
- Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (ISO9001:2015, ITAR, FARs)
- Interface with prime contractor portals (e.g., Exostar, Ariba/SAP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations
- Report directly to President and Vice President
Qualifications
- Mandatory Experience in aviation/aerospace technical marketing and sales, and electrical/avionics equipment
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems (battery experience a plus)
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and execute technical sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective leadership and team development capabilities
- Ability to operate in a small company, hands-on environment
- Experience with global customers (airlines, MRO, corporate, military)
- Familiarity with ISO9001:2015, ITAR, FARs, and contractor portals preferred
- U.S. military experience a plus
- Vocational training or college degree in a related field preferred
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
