What You'll Do
- Repair, replace, and assemble parts of the airframe, engines, systems, sub-systems, and articles authorized by the Repair Station
- Consults manufacturer’s manuals, STCs, ADs, service bulletins, etc., as appropriate for performing assigned tasks, to meet FAA regulations and Repair Station standards.
- Perform or assist in operational and functional tests of aircraft/engine systems and other articles authorized by the Repair Station
- Properly signs off Repair Station’s required forms for tasks assigned, also customer’s Task Cards, Equipment Removed/Installed as required.
- Be assigned other duties as required
- Recognize, inform and make suggestions to supervisor/management of potential health and safety hazards, improvements to policies, procedures other maintenance related functions
- The Avionics Technician shall hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate under 14 CFR 65
- Must pass required background check and drug screen
Technician may travel from Oshkosh and Appleton locations. Additional weekend hours may be required. Non-exempt.
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
