Position Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative / Quoting Specialist to join our team. This position serves as an important point of contact for customers and supports communication related to repair services, quotes, approvals, pricing, timelines, and service updates.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. This role requires the ability to follow up consistently, maintain accurate records, and work closely with internal departments to gather information needed for customer service and quoting.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with questions regarding landing gear repairs, accessories, repair status, pricing, and service timelines.
- Prepare, review, and send customer quotes based on repair needs, pricing information, and internal guidance.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending quotes, approvals, repair updates, and service status.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, quotes, approvals, and transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including production, inspection, purchasing, and management, to obtain information needed for accurate quotes and customer updates.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to follow up on customer inquiries, open quotes, and pending approvals.
- Support customer service and sales initiatives by identifying customer needs and opportunities for additional services.
- Ensure customer communications and documentation remain consistent with company procedures and FAA Repair Station requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, quoting, sales support, or a call center environment.
- Aviation, repair station, manufacturing, or technical service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional phone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and following up on pending items.
- Experience with data entry, quote preparation, or customer account records is preferred.
- Ability to work well with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
