VP Aviation is hiring Avionics Technicians to support aircraft maintenance, modification, production, and sustainment programs in Greenville, South Carolina.
- This is a contract opportunity for aircraft technicians with experience in electrical systems, avionics troubleshooting, wiring, harness installation, testing, and aircraft modifications.

- Assignments may include military fighter aircraft, military transport aircraft, and other aircraft platforms depending on current program needs. Work may support production, modification, flightline, depot, or sustainment operations.

Avionics Technician Job Responsibilities
As an Avionics Technician, you may support:
- Electrical harness and component installation
- Aircraft wiring and cable routing
- Cable termination, crimping, and soldering
- Continuity testing, operational checks, and system testing
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and avionics systems
- Reading schematics, wire diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
- Aircraft modifications, inspections, maintenance, and installations
- Documentation and safety compliance
Avionics Technician Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of aircraft electrical, avionics, or aircraft maintenance experience
- Aircraft wiring, harness installation, termination, and repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and technical drawings
- Experience performing continuity testing, operational checks, troubleshooting, and system testing
- Military aircraft experience preferred, including F-16, C-130, or similar aircraft platforms
- Production, modification, sustainment, depot, or flightline experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to pass background check and onboarding requirements
