General Manager, Aviation Services (Northeastern United States)
As General Manager, Station Operations, your goal is to build a service-minded organization built on a foundation of safety, where Team Members feel a sense of belonging and purpose, enjoy coming to work, and come together as a high-performing unit to achieve operational goals and objectives. You will provide vision, guidance, the necessary tools, feedback, and accountability to your assigned Team Members to ensure that they consistently meet/exceed performance expectations. This important operations leadership role has full operational and P&L responsibility and accountability for their assigned location and will be instrumental in shaping our success in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead assigned team to consistently achieve company and customer goals. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Safety Focused: Ensure that safety is the foundation of every decision made and every action taken, without exception. The leader will be tasked with ensuring their operation has a strong safety culture.
- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee daily operational performance, and effectively communicate with our customers to ensure that all performance targets are being met/exceeded.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to secure new business and sustain existing partnerships
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize feedback and data to identify opportunities for operational improvements, and quickly implement effective solutions.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with department heads to set goals, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable feedback to drive results.
- Recruit, Develop, Retain: Recruit, develop, and retain top industry talent while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance for all levels within assigned operations. Possess the ability to build a strong bench of rising leaders.
- Financial Accountability: Manage operating expenses and resources within set expectations, and ensure financial targets are consistently met/exceeded.

Requirements
- 5+ years of aviation (airline or ground handling) management experience in an operation that is equivalent in size/scope/responsibility
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms
- Willing to relocate for promotion/growth opportunities

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
