VP Aviation is hiring A&P Mechanics to support a major aircraft modification program in Andalusia, Alabama.
We are seeking aircraft mechanics with significant aircraft modification experience and a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
Candidates with heavy modification backgrounds on Boeing, Airbus, military aircraft, commercial aircraft, or rotary-wing aircraft are encouraged to apply.
This position is focused on aircraft modifications, upgrades, installations, and engineering changes.
- Pay is $1,600 per week at 40 hours, not including overtime.
- Overtime is available.

A&P Mechanic Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft modification and upgrade work
- Install, remove, and replace aircraft components and systems
- Support structural modifications and engineering changes
- Perform aircraft disassembly and reassembly as required
- Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and maintenance manuals
- Complete inspections, operational checks, and functional testing
- Document maintenance and modification activities in accordance with FAA and company requirements
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
- Significant aircraft modification experience required
- Heavy modification experience on Boeing, Airbus, military, commercial, or rotary-wing aircraft highly preferred
- Experience performing aircraft installations, upgrades, retrofits, or engineering changes preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Shift Information
Candidates must be flexible and willing to work either day or night shifts as requirements increase.
