Job Summary
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the sign industry and learn aspects of design, fabrication, graphics production, illumination and installation from an experienced team from the ground up.
We are seeking assistants in the following capacities, with opportunities for growth within the company. Cross-training or work in multiple departments is possible.
- Graphics Production
- Machining
- Assembly
- Finishing
- Manufacturing
- Install
- Shop Assistant
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Responsibilities will vary by position. Some examples:
- Assist with fabrication of channel letters (face-lit, halo-lit, trimless)
- Support building of illuminated cabinets and basic metal fabrication
- Assemble Channel Letters
- Load/unload materials for laser and CNC
- Prepare sign components for paint
- Assist with production and preparation of vinyl graphics
- Assist with production and preparation of ADA signs
- Help install LED lighting (wiring, power supplies, etc.)
- Assist installation crews on job sites as needed
- Maintain department/facility cleanliness, organization, and supply levels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to lift 80 lbs
- Proficiency in using power tools
- Experience is a plus.
- Must be comfortable using a computer/mobile device for email, job instructions, time tracking.
- Basic math skills are a must.
- Must be a punctual, organized, independent worker with great time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently AND in a team environment.
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
- Pay and other benefits commensurate with experience and eligibility.
- $17–$21/hr starting pay, with higher rates based on skills and growth
