Helicopter Ground Crew
Full-Time & Part-Time | MyFlight Tours | Detroit, MI
MyFlight Tours is Michigan’s largest helicopter tour provider, and we are looking for dependable, energetic people to join our Detroit team as Helicopter Ground Crew.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that plays an important role in keeping our helicopter operation running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. If you are interested in aviation, enjoy working with people, and like being part of an active team environment, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
As a member of our Ground Crew, you will help manage the flow of passengers and aircraft throughout the day. Responsibilities include:
- Calling and organizing passengers for their scheduled flights
- Confirming each group is assigned to the correct helicopter tour
- Safely escorting passengers to and from the aircraft
- Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting the helicopter
- Communicating each group’s tour information to the pilot
- Keeping flights organized and moving according to schedule
- Coordinating with pilots, customer service staff, and other ground crew throughout the day
- Preparing and arranging celebration packages and other customer add-ons before flights
- Fueling helicopters and assisting with aircraft ground operations
- Monitoring the ramp and passenger areas to maintain a safe and organized environment
- Helping maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility and operational areas

- Comfortable working outdoors and around operating helicopters
- Able to follow safety procedures and instructions closely
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Available to work weekends and holidays
No aviation experience is required. We provide training on our procedures, aircraft ground operations, and passenger safety.
Schedule
MyFlight Tours is open 7 days a week.
We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.
Weekend and holiday availability is required. Schedules will vary based on operational needs, events, and flight volume.
