We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aviation Maintenance Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the administrative functions related to aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and federal regulations. Your expertise will facilitate seamless coordination between maintenance teams, regulatory agencies, and suppliers, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our aviation assets. Duties
- Maintenance Tracking: Monitor and update aircraft maintenance status using digital tracking software (e.g., CAMP, Flightdocs, or similar) to ensure compliance with airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and regulatory requirements.
- Log Records Keeping: Maintain comprehensive aircraft logbooks, including airframe, engine, and component records; archive historical data and prepare reports for audits or inspections.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule routine and unscheduled maintenance tasks, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to minimize downtime and optimize fleet availability.
- Log Entry Data Input: Accurately input maintenance events, inspections, and compliance data into Log Entry systems; perform quality checks to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Reporting and Compliance: Generate monthly/quarterly reports on maintenance metrics; assist in preparing for FAA audits and ensuring all records meet 14 CFR Part 135 standards.
- Cross-Functional Support: Liaise with flight operations to review flight logs for discrepancies; support inventory management for parts and tools related to maintenance tasks.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline record-keeping processes and recommend enhancements to tracking tools or workflows.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; strong communication skills for coordinating among teams and external partners.
- Preferred: Proven experience in aviation or aircraft maintenance administration or related fields such as vehicle or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Preferred: Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and avionics systems is highly desirable.
