We’re looking for an experienced Safety Manager to join our transportation team and ensure compliance, safety, and smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor FMCSA and SMS scores.
- Handle DataQ challenges, MCS-150 updates, UCR, and SCAQ submissions.
- Manage permits (NY, KY, OR, NM, CA), Alcohol Licensing, and monthly mileage reporting.
- Prepare and file IFTA reports (NY, KY, CT, NM) and manage IRP registrations/renewals.
- Oversee all claims: cargo, physical damage, liability, and OCAC.
- Manage Drug & Alcohol program, Clearinghouse, background checks, MVR, and PSP reports.
- Work with systems like Samsara, DataTruck or EZ Loads, and e-log platforms.
- Maintain IPass, PrePass, HUT-2290 filings, and equipment tracking.
- Maintain Driver Qualification Files, conduct orientations, and monitor driver/equipment compliance.
- Handle insurance certificates, renewals, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of trucking safety or compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
- Familiar with fleet management tools (e.g., Samsara, DataTruck).
Benefits:
Pay: $85,000.00 - $950,000.00 per year
