Responsibilities
- Perform avionics system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on various aircraft
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of avionics equipment
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure aircraft compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Utilize specialized tools such as calipers, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment for precise work
- Conduct functional tests on avionics systems to verify proper operation
Requirements
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, including avionics troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing avionics systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of soldering techniques for electronic components
- Competency in using calipers and ohmmeters for accurate measurements
- Military experience or familiarity with militarized avionics systems is a plus
