Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structure Mechanic to join their team in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area. This role is responsible for performing aircraft structural inspections, diagnostics, and repairs while working closely with specialized teams such as NDT and fuel tank repair. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in industry-standard aircraft structural repair practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft structural inspections, repairs, and modifications in accordance with approved data and procedures
- Diagnose structural discrepancies and execute repairs using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Work collaboratively with NDT and fuel tank repair teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations
- Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, safety standards, and company quality procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce aircraft downtime and improve repair efficiency
Qualifications
- Proficiency in aircraft structural repair techniques and airframe maintenance
- Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance principles, diagnostics, and repair methods
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including powerplant interfaces and associated components
- Experience working on multiple aircraft types and adapting to unique structural requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Relevant aircraft maintenance certifications or licenses are preferred
- Must be able to work on-site in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
