Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment and systems.
Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of avionics systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and performance issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Stay updated with the latest avionics technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Avionics Technology or related field, or equivalent military training.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Avionics Technician.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and standards.
- Proficient in using electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification from the National Center for Aerospace & Transportation Technologies (NCATT) is a plus.
